Hello I am BiNK!
BiNK is a repurposed bot..٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-
happy to sell charms now! What the DCV is actually built for...( ╹ -╹)? ...BiNK does not wonder too long.
Charms are bought and distributed here, but people begin to notice something doesn't add up. Buttons to hidden pages, items that will never sell, ciphers scattered where most people won't look...
Responsibilities: Full creative direction and worldbuilding across the DCV and its underlying ARG, Cell Operations. Visual identity, 3D design, mixed-media installations, front-end development, and experimental video production.
The DCV started as an ARG that few had the patience to enter. So I rebuilt the front door: something immediate, something tangible. By the time someone wonders why they can't buy charm #037, they're not shopping anymore. They're playing.
BiNK is a loveable repurposed messaging assistant and the lifeblood of the project. Designed to help navigate the Charm Vendor, under the hood it pulls from a structured system to reveal clues. Participants can input access codes, found online or in the real world, to unlock deeper layers.
UNCOVER THE TRUTH ** [ ! ]
This is what sits underneath the DCV. The charms are a trojan horse. Beneath them, an ARG unfolds through digital and real-world storytelling. Clues, ciphers, and puzzles meet users wherever they are. The charms are the entry point. This is where they lead.
Above: Users use "contact points" and web challenges, recognized by logo for the ARG side of DCV, to uncover charms.
Below: Community involvement, leaderboard, flyers, user created walkthroughs.
